School Allotment

As you may be aware, last year the children prepared and maintained a garden plot per class.  Anyone who may wish to help with this or donate seeds, equipment, plants, or share expertise should make themselves known to either the school or a member of the PTFA.

This helps to encourage the children to interact with nature.  Children also learn about growing plants and vegetables which links in with healthy eating.  The children also learn to appreciate the need to nurture and take care of the environment.
